The Republican Party of Hood County Executive Committee is established and defined by the Texas Election Code, Title 10, §171.022 and §171.023. Additional information can be found in the Republican Party of Texas Rules.

The Committee is chaired by the Hood County Chairman and comprised of the Precinct Chairs of the sixteen precincts in Hood County. The County Chairman and Precinct Chairs are Republican Party Officials elected every two years by Hood County Republican Primary voters. Additional officers may be a Vice-Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer.

The Executive Committee regular meeting place and time is to be determined in the near future. Visitors are welcome to attend Committee meetings.

The agenda for each Executive Committee meeting is generally posted 7 - 10 days prior to the actual meeting. Notice and agenda of Special Call Meetings will be posted as soon as the call goes out. The last meeting's minutes will be posted on-line soon after the meeting.
